@velio84 No problem. I find the best way to use the forum is to hover over the forums tab at the tab of the page and then select "all topics" from the dropdown to see what's been posted in most recently, rather than going through subforums.
@Th3solution Yes. The bosses game have been beaten on the first try half of the time. Overall, it’s a bit easier. That being said, sometimes bonfires or shortcuts are farther apart or can’t run past as fast, so that specific setback can feel worse.
@Th3solution Yep, I found Demon's Souls the easiest soulsborne game I've played. Some of the bosses were almost disappointingly easy. Still a good game though and I really enjoyed it.

@velio84@Jaz007 That's great to hear actually. Because of the difficulty From Software games just take really long to complete for me (read: grinding). Any less grinding would certainly make me pick up the game more easily.
@Kidfried There’s actually a grinding spot that makes going elsewhere for Souls pointless. If you want to know so you can get there quicker, I could tell you.
@Kidfried I don't recall having to grind much at all in Demon's Souls, but there are a couple of locations which make it super easy. One location if you have any kind of ranged weapon/magic made going elsewhere not much sense. I'm not the biggest fan of doing it though, especially to make your character OP and prefer to get by based on my skill.
Most are the bosses are a bit different to the normal souls bosses, and are almost like puzzles that you have to solve which I quite liked.

@Kidfried More power to you! Not to say it is wrong to play it that way or anything, but certainly not something I've ever enjoyed doing much.
@Jecht_Ultima I don't think any were as bad as anything from DS2, a couple of those were almost laughingly bad. And one I seem to remember was even repeated.

Mortal Shell is just OK. It really is a copycat Dark Souls, even down to the loading screens. The harden mechanics (stop it) are a decent idea but always feel a bit awkward to really pull off in combat. I dunno, it’s alright. I beat the second boss first try which is a minor miracle considering I get murdered by the basic enemies on a regular basis.
Checked out Godfall from my library and what a perfect game to only have for a week. I heard all the negatives, but thought I'd give it a shot as an actual ps5 game. It is fun in short bursts. It is also very forgiving. Death means next to nothing. The areas are very repetitive and the home base is weak as well. However, the fighting is fun with many ways to take out your enemies. I enjoy it as a one week rental, beyond that no thanks.
Used my NA account today to purchase the $1 PS Now deal, and already beat and got all the trophies for Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. A fantastic short experience and already got my monies worth.

I've been playing demon souls. Have made it to the tower of latria boss and am questioning whether to give up. I forgot from bloodborne how much of a pain it was to resource grind healing items and though I am only fighting my 4th boss, none of the boss fights this far have grabbed me like they did in bloodborne or ds3. Am I falling out of love with fromsoft games, will I then need to change my username etc for here?! I'm 8 hrs in and maybe feel like I have gotten what I wanted from the game but am struggling with my completer/finisher personality. Just don't know what to do
On the final boss of Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition. This game just isn’t very good. A couple of decent concepts undermined by a threadbare plot that’s essentially Dark Souls fanfiction, extremely janky enemies, far too little stamina and largely mediocre bosses. All 4 of them.
