All these games that been showcased recently with these same aesthetics look the same to me, I honestly can't tell them apart 🙁

Looks nice, kind of hope it's an action games like devil may cry 5 rather than souls like though. After japan and korea, now china is trying to make single player AAA console games, nice

@Icey664 Xbox still has to prove that there first party output can actually be good. Everything that looked promising during the show is also coming to playstation. Hard to call that a real victory if I'm being honest.

The Wu Xia vibe feels a bit overwhelming for me after Phantom Blade Zero, Black Myth Wukong, Where Winds Meet, and now this. I must be forgot some games that recently announced and has Wu Xia vibe too.

But hey, at least there's more options to add beside Japan Samurai / Ninja, western, and sci-fi setting.

So many of these games have a Bloodborne Lovecraftian aesthetic. Which is fine, but Sony has really dropped the ball not doing anything with the Bloodborne IP. Now there’s too many knock-offs.

So it seems like hack and slash and crazy combo action games have become niche genres for some reason. As I have said multiple times why does every action need to be souls like its boring now. Been duped so many times last few weeks seeing these games in cool settings then show the combat as souls like. As others said this is the 6th or 7th similar looking setting game we have seen in 2 weeks surely a lot these will fail due to oversaturation.

Well, I am 100% the target for this type of game. No matter where it and all the others fall on the character action to souls-like continuum, I am a massive fan of combat that takes time to learn and good execution to pull off and I will be playing them all.

I do worry that there being so many of them will be a turn-off to the less serious fans of the genre that make up most of the sales though.
