It might not be topping the chart, but both physical editions of Elden Ring are currently in the UK's top 10. The regular version of FromSoftware's celebrated action RPG is currently in fourth, up from number 15. Meanwhile, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Edition — which includes a voucher code for the DLC as well as the main game — is at number six, down from its debut in second.
The rest of the list is more or less what you'd expect. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD debuts at number one, pushing down EA Sports FC 24 to second place. Hogwarts Legacy holds steady at number three, and the never-ending marathon continues for Grand Theft Auto V, which sits at number nine.
Here's the latest top 10 (physical sales only).

Hit the point of no return not realising it was the point of no return so i now have to face the final bosses very under-levelled so fun 😭😭😭 At least my Fire Knight build was fully complete when i hit it 😁
@DennisReynolds what are you gonna do now? Restart your save?
@ProfessorNiggle Nah i shell push through and i rely on summons if i have too.
It's gonna win Best Expansion/Ongoing game for sure. It's big enough as a standalone game. Everything is just so impressive.
@DennisReynolds
Missing NPC quest lines because of in-game actions and passing points of no return without realizing : staples of From's games.
And also proof of :
N.i.c.e. elden ring shadow of the erdtree is amazing and so is the amazing and legendary grand theft auto 5 at number 9.word up son
@Shinnok789 Its not handholding to let the player know in an open world game focused on exploring that they have reached a point of no return.
@DennisReynolds If you have another name for it, do tell.
To me at least it's in the same category of features with the oh so easily missable side quests, no quest guides or quest log, no map checkpoints, no included "GPS" to guide you from your location to a chosen destination, no Diary or Log of every attack you can make and how to do it, no in-game "Bestiary" with enemy strengths and weaknesses etc - all of them are found in other open world games but will never be included in From's "Souls-related" IP's - at least not while Miyazaki is in charge.
@Shinnok789 Its an open world game with a big focus on exploring, entering an area while exploring and then finding a lot of the game now lost kinda goes against exploring. Its unfair design and is punishing you for the thing they want you to do. From are rarely unfair and its what sets them apart from other Soulslike games (Lies of P aside) but when they do slip up and do something unfair it stings harder then the others.
Nintendo quietly and confidently kicking everything to touch week on week
The fact that Luigi Mansion 2 HD is #1 and it doesn't count digital is just bonkers.
@DennisReynolds I respect that
@DennisReynolds I think I know where you are and I thought so too, but it's not a point of no return, if you continue a bit more you will be able to fast travel to all the graces.
bitch please mario apears 4 times in the list include que fist place, half of the list is mario.
@Sacrosanctus Really? Good to know as i thought i was screwed.
@Faruko not really. Nintendo games tend to do particularly well when it comes to physical copies.
People talking about Nintendo always dominating the charts, I mean every parent, grandparent by default knows those games are safe for kids. They're buying it physical, no way they're leaving credit card details on their consoles trying to order digital for them.
@TheArt my brother has kept his CC and PayPal of all console stores so the nephew doesn't spend it. They bought a skin once. It happens but it is scary how easy it is to forget these things as a parent. So yeah I can see parents buying physical nintendo games for their kids.
@DennisReynolds Yeah, if you're referring to the final "dungeon," you just need to get to the next point of grace and everything opens back up. No points of no return in this DLC, thankfully.
@wildcat_kickz Yeah i've thankfully seen that now. Only lost the NPC quests but at least the rest is still there.
On a different note, I am impressed to see that Hogwarts Legacy is still selling really well.
@Matthewnh gameplay repetition aside, its basically a virtual recreation of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. It will probably continue to sell and not go dead for a very long time for no other reason, until Gen Alpha and those after with zero HP awareness become the primary gamers.
@Konks HBO/WB is currently working to make sure that never happens.
@wildcat_kickz
You just beat me to it.
