Review Tom Clancy's The Division (PS4)
Flu York, Flu York
In The Division it's amazing how quickly society goes to pieces. Admittedly, a genetically engineered super virus that manages to wipe out a large swathe of New York's population seems a reasonable catalyst, but you would have thought that it would have taken more than a few weeks for things to get as messed up as this. Anyhow, in...

Guide The Division PS4 - Skills, Talents, Stats, and Perks Explained
Understand the shooter's many systems
Getting to grips with The Division takes more mental fortitude than a medical professional performing brain surgery. For all of the advantages so very obviously present in Ubisoft's post-pandemic role-playing release, the early hours of the game can be mind numbing, as developer Massive unloads intel like it's...
Guide When Does The Division Beta Begin on PS4?
How can you get access? How big is the file?
Ubisoft, you sly dogs. At first we thought that all of the snow in New York City was a freak natural occurrence, but now we've realised that it was just viral marketing for Tom Clancy's The Division, which is set to receive its inaugural public beta this week. Of course, you may be wondering how to get...
Tom Clancy's The Division News
Soapbox Ubisoft Has Earned The Division a Second Shot
Lloyd's been left impressed by the publisher
Cast your mind back to just before the start of this console generation. At E3 2013, there was a game that had the industry abuzz: Ubisoft’s closer to its press conference, a new Tom Clancy title called The Division. Promising engaging co-op play amidst a backdrop of chaos and the fall of Manhattan’s...
News Play The Division For Free This Weekend, Starting Today
The whole game is yours to try
The Division is one of those games that just couldn't seem to sustain its own hype, despite Ubisoft's best efforts to build upon the initial release and keep people invested. Still, the publisher hasn't given up on the title just yet as it's attempting to reel new players in with a free weekend. Yep, the full...
News Play The Division for Free on PS4 All This Weekend
Snow joke
The benefit of these service games that Ubisoft keeps putting out is that they lend themselves well to promotional weekends, and The Division is no different. Starting at 00:01 PDT on 4th May, you'll be able to download and play Massive Entertainment's loot shooter for free on the PlayStation 4 all weekend. You'll need to be a PlayStation...
News The Division Suits Up with Sharper Graphics on PS4 Pro
People still play this?
We're going to let you in on a secret here: no one on our team voted for The Division in our Game of the Year ballot. In fact, it feels like Ubisoft's military role-playing release has been… For want of a better word, forgotten. Perhaps by players, but not by the publisher: the game will be updated imminently with...
News The Division Is Still the Best Selling Game of 2016, Ubisoft Reminds Us
But is anyone still playing it?
We remember the lead up to The Division's launch like it was yesterday. The online shooter had a huge amount of hype behind it, with many claiming that it was fated to be the next big thing. It then released to solid reviews and plenty of sales. For a while, it's safe to say that The Division was a hit. However, it...
News The Division DLC Plans Pushed Back as Dev Works on Fixing the Core Game
The will to survive
Developer Ubisoft Massive has taken a step back and reanalysed its current situation following a rocky few months for The Division - its co-op based, loot-heavy shooter. The game launched back in March, and, as we recall, was hyped up to be the next big thing. And, while it did manage to make a splash initially, it quickly...
News Enlist for The Division with Amazon Prime Day Sale
New York, New York
Well, it didn't quite set the world alight like the pre-release hype had suggested, but with expectations aligned, Tom Clancy's The Division is a fine game. A fusion of third-person shooting and Diablo-esque looting, this military-focused affair has bags of content to offer – and a never-ending stream of urban goons who need...

E3 2016 The Division Is at Its Darkest with the Survival Expansion
The last of us
While we've already gotten one look at the first expansion for Tom Clancy's The Division with Underground today, there's at least something new to chew on with a cinematic trailer for the newly revealed Survival. If the embedded trailer is supposed to be any indication of what gameplay will be like, expect to be low on ammo and...
E3 2016 The Division's Next Expansion Underground Gets a Short Showcase
Going subterranean
Tom Clancy's The Division has been rather tame in terms of updates and new content of late, so it's nice that we get to see some more footage of its upcoming expansion, Underground, in a new trailer that was shown off during Microsoft's conference. There honestly aren't that many exciting or new elements that we can make out, but...

Hands On The Division's a Clinical But Compelling PS4 Shooter
Empire elated?
Hit making is really, really hard. Pop stars like Katy Perry and Justin Bieber may very well have raw talent, but it's down to their respective record labels to extract that in order to turn them into superstars. And it takes a team of incredibly intelligent people – writers, stylists, producers, engineers, choreographers,...
First Impressions The Division Shows Promise on PS4, But There Are Worries
Our thoughts after five hours with the beta
Every time that we have something good to say about Tom Clancy's The Division, there's a 'but' at the end of the statement. Maybe we're just miserable gits, or perhaps we're just wary of Ubisoft's ability to con us into thinking something's really good when deep down, it's actually pretty unremarkable...
