So the Childish Gambino track this is America. Powerful stuff.

I think the use of the iconography in the video hits home pretty hard, the music track itself was ok but the video for me is fantastic.

@kyleforrester87 forgot to reply, but I've listened to it immediately when you posted. I love this track and listen to it quite regularly.

@themcnoisy I think it's a good song, but the music video really makes it something special. Great art direction.

I also enjoy the switching between the more aggressive verses and the more happy choruses.

@Kidfried sweet! He's launched a whole album now which is worth a listen too to be fair.

For anyone into the Apollo missions Public Service Broadcasting have a pretty great album chronicling it.

@kyleforrester87 there was a jfk speech tune at the end of Match of the day 2 on Sunday crazily - the link was Man Citys footballing coming from outerspace. Similar setup with the original lines spread between techno beats. It was really good. Thanks for the recommendation and have another tune by Public Service Broadcasting, Spitfire while Im typing this.

@kyleforrester87 Public Service Broadcasting is great. Best tracks are Elfstedentocht and Spitfire imo.

It might just be me, but I haven't listened to a lot of reallygreat albums from 2018 yet. Might be that I missed out.

What are your favorite records released so far?

• MGMT - My Little Dark Age. Dark 80's synth pop, just love the sound of it.
• Superorganism - Superorganism. UK's newest art pop sensation. I love their carefree approach to music.
• Sleep - Sciences. Never expected one of my favorite albums of the year so far to be a metal album (not a metal fan), but here we are!

Totally agree with MGMT's Little Dark Age, my album of the year so far. Jack White's Boarding House Reach and the Voidz's (Julian Casablancas from the Strokes) Virtue are also very solid albums and highly recommended.

You're welcome buddy, it's a top album too. I maybe, slightly, prefer it to their first LP Tyranny which i really dug.

I just watched the new music video from Babymeral, Distortion. Good metal song and cool video, but honestly, I just want my freakin kawaii. It looks like their first album will remain their best and most unique album. I mean there wasn’t even a hint of dancing in there latest video.

One of my favorite bands released new singles: the Gorillaz. Any more fans here? And what did you think of the new songs?

I'm a fan of Gorillaz but I mostly just like their singles with the exception of a few other songs. Haven't heard their new album yet, though.

Are there any cover version of songs you guys like better than the original? I've been listening to Junkie XL & Gary Clark Jr.'s Come Together and I actually like it better than John Lennon's original version.

@WanderingBullet All along the Watchtower, originally a neat folk song by Bob Dylan but the interpretation of Jimi Hendrix is off the charts. One of my favourite songs ever!

Nirvana did a rock solid cover of Lake of Fire by the Meat Puppets at their MTV Unplugged session. So good! Goosebumps everytime.

I’m been listening to the soundtrack of the Devil May Cry series from an album called “Devil May Cry Soundbox” which is bascilly the exciting part of the soundtracks. I’m loving it and my body is so ready for a DMC5 announcement at E3.

Anyone in to prog and have any 'left-field ' suggestions?

I'm down to one eye for a bit, so gaming isn't happening. So some music will have to do.
