Slitterhead looks rough....
Nowt?
Nothing?
Nought?
The essence of f*** all?
It's too bad Killer Bean isn't coming to consoles yet. That game looks really fun honestly. And no, this isn't a joke.
Wait your missing some or at least one i dont see the monkey ninja game on there?
Nothing I like.
Glad I trusted my instinct.
Geoff was right not to get our hopes up eh?
Also... Lego Horizon. Why? Who asked?
Honestly, if the Alan Wake II DLC wasn’t there, along with a release date for Kunitsu-Gami, I would be pretty angry right now lol
Alan Wake II DLC
More Monster Hunter Footage without a release date
And confirming that I won’t be buying Slitterhead…
That’s about it.
I’ll try Quidditch. I’m definitely less excited about Slitterhead now. I’ll be buying the Dragon Ball game and Alan Wake 2 DLC. In fact, I’ll probably try to play that this weekend. The Power Rangers title looked genuinely interesting though. Wukong and Metaphor look like they could be standouts, but I’m feeling hesitant on the both of them. At the end of the day, though, it’s the first time I felt like I was watching ads instead of a gaming presentation. All the live service junk… I dunno… that whole Valorant section actually repulsed me.
@Malaise Yeah, probably a very smart business decision. I fell off of Horizon pretty hard so I have no interest personally but I'm sure it'll do very well which is good for the fans I guess!
I'm shocked to see that none of those games would release on PSPlus and that's very disappointing as quite a few titles announced today will be releasing on GamePass Day 1.
And people complained how bad last weeks State of Play was….Summer Games Fest was so bad it put me to sleep. I’d rather have a Lego Horizon actual Lego set than the game that was shown and that comes from a HUGE Horizon ZD and FW fan. By all accounts the Xbox show will be a banger. Please please Xbox don’t put me to sleep…
@HotGoomba I honestly think the same. I don’t typically play games like that, but it piqued my interest and was a highlight for me.
@Gamer_X I prefer to pay for my games.
Soo, pretty much nothing then.. Well except for Civ7 (But that was just a cinematic teaser with no in game content)
Was the kick off the great gaming drought of 2024. Stay hydrated out there.
Seems like I didn't miss much then.
So quite literally nothing then lol
Lego Horizon: lol. It's not like nobody care about Horizon IP, with all of its repulsive characters and stupid story behind. What are they thinking, seriously... Maybe the dinosaurs in Lego would be the most attractive thing?
@Cloud39472 There are zillion of the lego reimaginations of all kinds of franchises, which apparently sell. Such games seem to be often purchased for kids.So maybe You are just not part of the core audience of such a game ?
Seem to be missing quite a few announcements here. Alan Wake 2 dlc, monster hunter trailer, kingdom come 2, I'm sure there were others..
Woke up at 7am (on a Saturday) to watch it... some how fell asleep, and thought I'd slept through all the big releases... went back, and found that the sleep part was perhaps the most interesting bit.
It's not that these games are horrible - it's they're not really "big event" material. I did however have a lot of respect for the devs of Among Us actually paying back to the community with game funding. Sweet - and they should be commended.
It wasn't a bad show providing you had the sense to manage your expectations.
I think my only disappointment was no Sean Murray and Light No Fire.
Nothing for me and many looked basically like the same game. That is jumping and hopping around defying gravity while swinging huge swords at mostly huge monsters.
A new GTA Six trailer along with a new Mafia game announcement and teaser would have been nice.
@Malaise I felt that way too. Forbidden west killed my interest in any future Horizon games. I didn't hate it but it was painfully mediocre to me for some reason.
LEGO Horizon stole the show… and my heart.
Alan Wake 2 physical, Black Myth Wukong no physical.
Other than that... *yawns heartily
@Kraven : I bet you do....on the other hand I prefer to travel or buy new gaming equipment with the money Gamepass saves me in a yearly basis.
But hey everyone is entitled to buy games they don't have to buy, right?
@Gamer_X Hey, to each their own! No biggie! I’m just saying for myself, I prefer to purchase my games. I’m blessed enough to be able to buy games and still go on vacation/travel with my wife.
In terms of games and Game Pass, I think for my tastes I prefer quality over quantity. There’s nothing of substantial for me on Game Pass, and I think it’s a failing model that will only go up in price and decrease in quality products. But I do understand the appeal of it, and if it works for you and others, that’s awesome!
I hope you have a good day!
That Qudditch game looks like a mobile one aha
