Killer Bean PS5

Based purely on how ridiculous it looked, we would argue that the trailer for meme-based action title Killer Bean was actually one of Summer Game Fest's most memorable offerings. However, it hadn't been confirmed for a console release, and so we decided against covering it.

That's all changed today, though. As reported by our pals over at Pure Xbox, aptly named developer Killer Bean Studios has announced that the game will be coming to consoles — including "PlayStation" — following its early access stint on Steam. We don't have a date for any of this, but it's hitting PC "soon".

If you have no idea what Killer Bean even is, we'd recommended watching the project's extended gameplay trailer:

"This is a first person/third person, roguelike shooter. Every time you start a new single player campaign, everything changes," reads Killer Bean's official description.

It continues: "The locations change, the missions change, the characters change, the bosses change, and most of all, the story changes. Characters who you trusted before, may turn against you. Enemies who tried to kill you, may end up helping you. Simple missions can turn into deadly traps. No two campaigns are the same."

Are you looking forward to the eventual release of Killer Bean, presumably on PS5? Lock and load in the comments section below.
