Now that we've all had time to process them, we want to know your thoughts on the recently revealed Dragon Age: The Veilguard. BioWare's RPG (or should we say action RPG?) turned out to be a major talking point amongst a wave of game announcements and updates from this summer's showcases.
Almost a whole decade after the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, fans were handed a unexpectedly stylised, Marvel-esque cinematic trailer — and it didn't go down well. The video was absolutely torn to shreds on YouTube, and it divided opinion just about everywhere else.
Fortunately, a previously promised gameplay demonstration looked much better, although there are still plenty of concerns over the game's art direction, its move to all-action combat, and its assumed lack of dialogue options. Obviously, it's hard to properly judge a game that's still months away from launch, but discussions surrounding The Veilguard have still been incredibly heated.
