Thoughts on the PS Plus Extra were fairly mixed, with Monster Hunter Rise being the title most of you are excited to play. The same goes for PS Plus Premium, where PSP game Daxter is what classic fans are firing up first. What will you be downloading today? Let us know in the comments below.

Hello everyone . Can someone please tell me if Lego Star Wars 2 has trophies as my premium had run out and I can’t download the game to check (before I may upgrade )
Thank you in advance .
@kailun From what I've read online - it doesn't unfortunately. Only Daxter and Ghosthunter do. That being said, they may get added in the future - it happened for Toy Story later down the line and that was also an emulated Disney game.
EDIT: This from a Push Square article published this morning:
"While some third-party titles have been adding Trophies recently, it looks like there’ll be no gongs for LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, the third retro game scheduled to be added as part of PS Plus Premium’s big June update, available today."
@AK4tywill that’s a shame , but thank you for responding. I hope one day they just starting porting over all vita games and also change that large library of ps3 games on the premium subscription to download rather than just stream . Many people just don’t have that internet to support . Thanks again and happy gaming
@kailun It doesn't, unfortunately.
Not sure it is a mistake on Sony's end, but LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is currently only for the PS5
@kailun Unfortunately the PS5 doesn't have enough grunt to natively emulate the PS3's Cell so unless the PS6 gets a serious power jump, you'd be better off finding a decent condition used PS3 and a load of (cheap in CEX, these days) discs!
Some Vita games could come across though some will be stuck due to the rear touchpad not being supported.
@kailun i can tell you that ps3 games will always be streaming. they aren't playable via downloading them. like the other person said to look out for a decent used ps3 console if you want to play them that way. the only upside is the ps3 and ps5 use the same exact hdmi and power cables.
Streaming PS3/PS4/PS5 games for me has no lag, I honestly can't tell the difference between streaming and native.
As soon as I press a button the game reacts, I was actually very surprised.
@sanderson72 Why I kept my PS3 and I managed to get a PS2 chunky off an old work colleague for £10 with a controller and official memory card. Great working condition too the coin battery is dead as the time doesn't save but I was looking into replacing it but have to totally dismantle the system to get to the battery to replace
Anno 1800, at long last I can get stuck in.
@sanderson72 The Cell processor isn't some unique, mystical thing that other CPUs can't comprehend. My relatively cheap PC from 2015 can emulate the PS3. All it has is an i5-6500, a not great but not terrible CPU from a decade ago. I have no idea why Sony are hanging back so much with this. The PS5 has something similar to a Ryzen 7 3700X. This is a comparison between that and my CPU.
@Matroska I believe it was all in the coding for the CELL is the reason why it looks years for games to finally play and look decent. One would assume it's about how and what they used for the games and if the PS4 or PS5 can run the instruction set and coding properly.
Me myself I believe they've been waiting to do a Nintendo and slap them all under the subscription system. But they do allow you to buy it individually at a high price
